Re: Loonatics - The New Looney Toons (here and here)
Well, I'm gonna give it a chance before I freak out. I mean, yeah, the character designs are pretty ugly, and the whole concept is kinda overdone, but who knows, it might be good.
After all, I did like Tiny Toons, Batman Beyond, X-men Evolution and Muppet Babies (waaay back in the day ^^), so I might like this, too. Sure, it's not the original, but who said it had to be? If I want to watch the original, it's on TV all the time. At very least, these "updated" shows will get some of the younger generation interested enough to check out the classics. ^^
The thing I'm not liking about this show? They put one female on the team, and they make her the flippin' disguise expert. Yeah, that's right, throw in a random girl to appease the equality rules, and then have her sit around and play with CLOTHES. I dunno, maybe she'll end up more impressive than that, but yeesh, way to impress your female audience, WB.
